The repository or the platform introduced by the tech giant Google brings free items of various formats simply to facilitate the development of new immersive content. The idea is to increase the supply of games and apps on the Google Daydream platform, dedicated to 3D (three-dimensional) content for mobile. However, if you want to access the items then simply you can do so through your browser just by clicking here. The Poly online store collects 3D objects ranging from the simplest in food, flower or animal form; to more sophisticated items that display entire landscapes in three dimensions. The options are organized in Art, Architecture, Places and scenes, Food and Drink and six other categories. However, the overall initiative resembles the tech giant Microsoft’s Remix 3D, but instead of Paint 3D, it bets on content created by the tech giant Google’s Tilt Brush and Blocks apps. Most of the items in the repository have simple graphics, something necessary to result in fluid animations when playing a virtual reality game on your smartphone. The main goal is to accelerate the work of professionals using the ARCore and ARKit development platforms and need to create content that works well on mobile phones. But, you can also use it in your projects as well. Some downloads of Poly are made available by the tech giant Google itself, others by independent artists, and can be obtained in 3D or GIF. All are free to download and make available with a Creative Commons license. So, what do you think about this? Simply share your views and thoughts in the comment system below.
